Dramatic Licence Take Part in the Benijofar 2010 Parade.

We were delighted to be invited by the Alcalde of Benijofar to be part of the 2010 Fiesta Parade.

The Cultural Centre in Benijofar is due for refurbishment, and when completed will have full theatre facilities and a raked auditorium.

The Ayuntamiento has expressed a keen desire for Dramatic Licence to be based there once the work is completed, and of course we are enthusiastic to be so.

Members went as characters from the world of films and TV, including Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Cleopatra, Snow White, The Wicked Witch of the East, Noddy, Carmen Miranda, The Flintstones and Batman.

Above, Noddy (Walter Hamilton) leads the way with Carmen Miranda (Marion Parmenter) and Cleopatra's Hand Maiden (Eileen Hamilton) following behind.

Right, Cleopatra (Jackie Williams) enjoys a moment with the crowd. Left, the Wicked Witch of the East (Suzanne Stokes) shows off her Magic Globe.
